state fair and ironwood.

finn visited one of his sets of great-grandparents (we call them gg's) in the UP a few weeks ago and got his first taste of lake superior. he was not so much a fan of the cool water. hmm... must be a babycakes like his father. oh well. i've got lots of time to toughen him up. and he even had a new carseat for the ride... it's called the mr. bigguns carseat.

we also took him to the state fair last night for his first of many visits to the great state get-together. he even had a teensy nibble of cheese curd and a french fry. i swear not to make this a habit! he even went on a ride on ye old mill! ah, minnesotan-ness at it's finest.
